Product Introduction
The AS-03 is a robust industrial power plug designed for low-voltage, high-current applications in extreme environments. Featuring IP67 protection and a 3P+E 250A 690V configuration, it reliably operates in ambient temperatures up to 80°C (250°C on request).
Its rugged construction resists dust, water, vibrations, and corrosion, making it ideal for offshore platforms, railway systems, ports, and bulk material handling.

Product Features
Casings and fastenings
● The body shells are tempered cast aluminum (AS7G).
● Neoprene seals ensure protection to IP66.
● All fastenings are instainlesssteel.
Insulators
● The single-piece insulators are of thermo-hardening molded plastic material.
● Insulators for male and female contacts are interchangeable in the plugand socket body shells.
Contacts
● Silver plated copper alloy full effective up to 200°C(392°).
● The cable terminals are of compression type and detachable.
● Auxiliary contacts.
● Two pilot contacts as standard.
Earthing
● The earth contact is secured directly to the body shell and earth continuity is guaranteed by means of a GITTER contact, an example of which is shown below.
Cable termination
● Can be crimped or soldered.
● Female contaqcts are fitted with PROCONECT designed internal slotted sleeve,(GITTER),which gives the following user benefits:
1.A large number of independent contact points greatly increasing the current carrying capacity of contact.
2. Low insertion and withdrawal force due to low contactfricton.
3. Long contact life due to negligible wear when contacts are mated and unmated.
4. Contacts remain fully effective over a large temperature rang and are unaffected by high temperatures up to 200°C(392°F).
